If you want to learn about the history of Sicilian cuisine and have fun in the kitchen of the Boutique Hotel, you’re in the right palce!
With our chef, you can enjoy on a journey of Sicilian flavors and aromas, getting hands-on in the process.
“Let me tell you a recipe” is indeed the Chef’s project, designed to narrate Sicily through stories of cultural anthropology related to food.
Telling the cuisine to a people means shedding light on their experiences and discovering ancient traditions, legends, and tales of a past that still lives on in our present.
You will cook and study preparation techniques. You will get to know the raw ingredients by discovering them through the senses, and then fall in love with them. You will learn the tricks of the trade, through preparation processes passed down from generation to generation. Thus, you will experience a fun and unique adventure, sweetened by the Chef’s stories and her passion for cooking.
Cooking classes at Domìa:
- A refreshing welcome drink typical of Sicily
- Recipe of the dish with hints of history, printed
- Individual preparation of the chosen dish in the presence of the Chef
- Apron and kitchen utensils
- Final decoration of a surprise Sicilian dessert prepared by our pastry chef
- A glass of wine and tasting of the dish comfortably served at the table by the service team
Cost of the experience:
€100 per person, Price valid for groups of 2 to 6 people
€120 in case of a single guest
The cost includes: VAT, water (still or sparkling), a glass of wine or a soft drink or non-alcoholic cocktail. All the necessary tools to support the Master Class and to allow you to fully enjoy the experience!
